At The Healing Project, our mission is to amplify equitability and ​accessibilty to resources by providing sustainable resource ​navigation to low-income and unhoused communities. We believe ​that availability to essential resources such as mental health, ​housing, health care and food is a top priority. Having your basic ​needs met is the first step needed to promoting optimal well-​being,

Programs

Services

By connecting individuals to essential services, we empower them to ​overcome barriers and achieve stability and self-sufficiency.


Project Baby Ambassador

Resource Navigation - Guiding low-income and unhoused indivduals and ​families through the process of accessing vital community resources. We ​assist with housing, healthcare, employment, and educational opportunities ​ensuring participants receive personalized support and guidance.


Community Wellness Events - At our holistic wellness events we offer ​yoga, meditation, family friendly crafts, and many more immersive ​activities centered around personal exploration and self-growth as well as ​women circles that advocate for strong sisterhood and support.


Food Assistance - We hope to support families in our community through ​food pantries and direct outreach distribution. We believe that everyone ​deserves access to a healthy, satisfying meal.



Our mission is to create leaders in our community ​by teaching individuals how to advocate, navigate, ​and organize within their community.

Workforce Development

The Healing Project partners with Dwyre Workforce Development to provide ​accessible education and job opportunities for low-income and unhoused ​community members. We offer a 6-12 week CNA/Med Aide program.

Community Advocacy

Nyeka Arnold, 6th generation Austinite mother, and student, has been at the forefront ​of many town halls, community-led protests, and public speaking ventures raising ​awareness on gentrification and displacement, police violence, and new policies or law ​that will affect disenfranchised communities

Zhane is driven by a passion for serving ​and supporting individuals facing ​mental health challenge which includes ​coordinating community events, ​developing innovative programs, and ​building strong relationships.
